Hi ive been wondering if anyone who has changed out their handlebars as had any troube in slidng the clutch lever back onto the new handlebar? I can only get my on about an inch onto the bar. Ive tried to grease it up and pry it open but im not getting anywhere. My bars are 1" and are painted black. Im hoping on purchasing a 2 piece clutch lever but ive had no luck in finding one without having to buy a Harley part. If i go with the harley then id have to changed out the cables as well and i really dont want to do that. Does nayone have any advice or any japanese part number i can use for a different clutch lever that is a 2 piece. Im not even sure why Suzuki made the lever as a one piece. Thanks. By the way thanks to the 2 guys who helped on the chrome and black shocks tell you how it goes when i buy them ....... back to clutch, im thinking it may be because the bars are painted.
